UNSW invites alumni resident in the US to one of two receptions in late April which will be hosted by Professor Frederick G Hilmer AO, Vice Chancellor and President of UNSW and Professor Alec Cameron, Dean of the Faculty of Business. The receptions will be held in New York and San Francisco. The New York reception is co-hosted by the Australian Consul-General, New York, the Hon John Olsen AO.

The University of New South Wales has recently engaged Ben Phillips from Unlimited Philanthropy to act as its US Representative (Development).

Ben is based in Washington DC and will provide a more accessible point of contact for any queries that graduates in the US may have about contributing to UNSW or accessing UNSW alumni services; making contact with other graduates and/or becoming more involved with our fundraising activites in the US.

Ben's appointment compliments the existing program for graduates of UNSW Study Abroad and the recent establishment of UNSW & Study Abroad - Friends and US Alumni Inc - a non profit charitable entity with 501 (c) (3) status that is based in New York, NY.
