UNSW Alumni Association Vision and Mission Statement

Mission
To build a lifelong partnership between UNSW and its worldwide alumni that fosters active participation in the life of the University, advances the stature of UNSW, and brings benefit to the community at large.
Vision
To promote awareness of UNSW as a vibrant international community that encompasses a diverse and extensive alumni constituency, committed to the progress of society through the advancement of a leading educational institution.
Core Values
Education:
The Association will support the development of UNSW students and alumni through their UNSW experience and through lifelong learning. It will promote recognition of the value of a UNSW education and foster ongoing academic and educational interchange.
Community:
The Association will help promote personal and professional networks and facilitate interaction throughout the entire alumni community, aiming to create a strong and active alumni voice and a resource of knowledge, expertise and action for UNSW, nationally and internationally.
Diversity:
The Association values highly the diversity and international reach of the UNSW community, including the depth and range of UNSW research and teaching and its commitment to social justice. The Association will strive to reflect and engage with the full span of this diversity and to support the international stature of UNSW.
Innovation:
The Association will always strive to be innovative and entrepreneurial in its programs and activities, reflecting the pioneering and progressive spirit of the University and its innovative academic priorities.
Advocacy:
The Association will actively encourage alumni and volunteer support for UNSW and its wide social outreach, and will always promote the high standard of ethics and community responsibility integral to UNSW’s stature.
