Malaysia Chapter
The UNSW Alumni Association Malaysia Chapter conducts special events and activities throughout the year.
Monthly networking meetings are held through the Malaysia Business Council (MBC) which members are encouraged to attend.
The Chapter also offers a work experience program to UNSW students through the Malaysian Students' Organisation and strongly supports UNSW graduates when they return home.

Dato' David Koh Eng Hooi, BSc'72, President of KLS Housing in Kuala Lumpur and founding President of the UNSW Alumni Association Malaysia Chapter, was honoured with the degree of Doctor of Science, honoris causa, for his visionary service to the community, particularly in the area of housing for those in need.
In 2004 then UNSW Chancellor, Dr John Yu AC, presented Dato' Koh with the University's highest honour at a UNSW Graduation Ceremony in Singapore, noting his continuing championing of UNSW graduates to help in the development of his projects, as well as his long and distinguished service to Malaysia and to the University of New South Wales.
