The Research Strategy Office at UNSW can provide advice on a number of partnership funding schemes from the Commonwealth Government. UNSW is the largest single awardee of many of these schemes.

ARC Linkage Grants support Industry/University Collaborative Research. Projects are usually derived between a University Academic and Industry Partner based on solving an important problem for the partner.

Linkage Projects provide funds to UNSW from the ARC on a matching dollar for dollar basis with an industry partners contribution. This can be cash and in-kind contributions.

This award can be mixed within a project or separate. Where separate the minimal cash contribution from the partner is $5,000 with another $5,000 in kind. The ARC then funds a PhD or Masters student to work on a collaborative project.

Again provides a Post Doctoral Fellow to work on the project with at least a $10,000 p.a cash and in kind contribution from the Industry partner.

Provides project funding for proof of concept research with industry partners.
