The 2013 Wallace Wurth Lecture will be delivered by Mrs Gail Kelly, CEO and Managing Director, Westpac Group. Born in South Africa, Gail attended the University of Cape Town and the University of Witwatersrand. In 1997, Gail and her family migrated to Australia.
Gail will pay tribute to Nelson Mandela whose life is an inspiration to millions around the world.
The Lecture will be followed on this special occasion by the unveiling of the Mandela Bust, commissioned by the University to constantly remind us of Mandela’s belief “that courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it”.
