Resident at UNSW, the Burgundian Consort consists of nineteen singers drawn primarily (although by no means exclusively) from UNSW's undergraduate music program. Established in 1985, the Burgundian Consort holds a reputation for delivering high-standard performances of challenging, unaccompanied choral repertoire.
Join the Burgundian Consort and conductor/director Sonia Maddock in the superb Sir John Clancy auditorium this September as they present their annual recital, entitled ‘Sacred and Profane’. It promises to be a beguiling evening of sacred and secular chamber choir works, featuring music from Britten, Whitacre and Palestrina.
