UNSW Global Leaders Lecture Series: China and the World: How Global Warming Changes the Equation

Location: Tyree Room, John Niland Scientia Building, UNSW Kensington campus.
Description: China, the most populous nation in the world, is producing an ever larger quantity of industrial goods and has recently surpassed the United States as the largest emitter of greenhouse gases.

The environmental problems experienced in China have consequently become a global problem and understanding what is happening within this crucial country is more important than ever.

Professor Schell will discuss this significant problem which confronts the globe and will explore the benefits in joining together to tackle this issue.
