| Other comments: Many pressing social problems can only be addressed effectively in a holistic fashion, harnessing the wit, commitment and resources of a range of stakeholders inside government, non-profit and business sectors of society. To actually achieve such an approach is a major leadership challenge, since there are many forces lined up against it, including political divisions, bureaucratic routines and silos, intergovernmental tensions, lack of involvement and/or trust between governmental, corporate and non-profit actors. This course is designed to help participants reflect on how to overcome these barriers, and how we can harness public leadership in each of these three sectors to forge more creative and more productive forms of collaborative engagement. Dinner is included for this event. | |
