One of Australia’s most experienced and acclaimed lecturers on poetry, Professor Barry Spurr, will speak at Warrane College on Wednesday 4 September 2013.

Professor Spurr was educated at the Universities of Sydney and Oxford and was appointed as Australia's first Professor of Poetry and Poetics in 2011. He is the longest-serving member of the University of Sydney English Department and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Educators.
