The next UNSWriting event features Tony Birch presenting: 'Placing Fiction': conjuring stories from the footprints of memory".
He will discuss the influence of place and landscape in his writing, and in particular locations he returns to, in search of the remnants of memory that become central to his writing. His current project, Ghost River, is concerned with stories of the Yarra River, both past and present.
