The cost of your university study will depend on the degree you choose and how you choose to study at UNSW.
Student contribution charges
If you are a new domestic undergraduate student, you are enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP). You will pay a Student Contribution towards the cost of your studies and the Australian Government funds the rest. When you enrol online you will need to nominate how you will pay your Student Contribution – either upfront or apply for HECS-HELP, if eligible, and pay later.
To apply for HECS-HELP you must provide your Tax File Number. See the Australian Government website Study Assist for more information.
