Non-award refers to courses which do not lead to, or count towards, a formal award of the University of New South Wales.
International Student Exchange
Study available at overseas universities for UNSW students from Year 2 onwards.
Languages
The Institute of Languages offers short courses in English and other languages to international and local students. If however, you are interested in a degree program in a language other than English contact the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
Non-award enrolments (Voluntary and Cross-institutional enrolments)
Non-Award enrolments refers to all enrolments in courses or sequences of courses which do not lead to or count towards a formal award of the University of New South Wales.
Study Abroad
Available to international students to study a session (semester) at UNSW.
University Preparation Program
The UNSW University Preparation Program (UPP) is a preparatory study program for older students who either do not possess formal qualifications, or whose academic qualifications do not satisfy the minimum entry requirements for admission to the University. The program has been designed to assess your academic potential and to provide a realistic environment within which you can develop the skills to manage tertiary study effectively.
UNSW Foundation Year
UNSW Foundation Year is a complete academic program designed to prepare students with an international educational background for undergraduate studies in Australia.

Learn4Life offers non-degree short course in:

- Special Interest
- Information Technology
- Customised courses
Learn4Life also offers - via its Registered Training Organisation (RTO) - nationally accredited qualifications in Business (Frontline Management), Spoken and Written English, Training and Assessment.
