Outstanding documentation
Additional documentation/information may be requested by the Admissions Office to assist in assessing your eligibility for admission to UNSW.
Examples of commonly requested documents include:
Certified/original documentation
Documentation that you send with your application must be either the original or a correctly verified/certified copy. If not in English, official translations into English plus certified copies of the original language document will be required. Please see the Non Award website for information on who is authorised by UNSW to certify copies of documents.
Admissions does not offer a document return service so applicants are advised to submit certified copies of their documentation, rather than the originals.
Please note that UNSW will only accept original English Test results.
Proof of completion of current studies
You must provide certified documentation that shows you have successfully completed your current studies. This can take the form of a testamur or final academic transcript indicating that you have met the requirements for the award of a qualification.
If you are not able to provide this information when the Admissions Office first requests it, you must do so at the earliest opportunity.
Proof of a change of name, citizenship or permanent residency
You are required to supply correctly verified copies of official changes to your name, citizenship or permanent residency.
English Test Result
You are required to supply an original of your English language test result.
Proof of English Proficiency
You are required to provide evidence that you meet the UNSW's English language proficiency requirements.
Please note that failure to provide documentation requested by the Admissions Office may result in the cancellation of your application. The University reserves the right to vary or reverse any decision made on the basis of untrue, incomplete or misleading information supplied as part of an application
