Flexible Entry
UNSW's flexible entry programs allow students with the highest potential to be supported in different ways through their admission process.
HSC Plus
There is a strong correlation between Year 12 course performance and success in first year university studies. HSC Plus is a bonus point system which rewards students who perform well in Australian Senior Secondary Certificate courses that are relevant to their preferred UNSW program. Eligible applicants will be awarded a maximum of 5 bonus points for each UNSW preference.

Elite Athletes and Performers Program
UNSW has introduced a flexible entry program for students who are elite athletes or performers. Under the new program, applicants for undergraduate places are eligible for bonus points on their UAI rank (or recognised senior secondary qualification) for entry to their preferred UNSW program. The Program also provides support for undergraduate and postgraduate students while they study. Eligible applicants will be awarded a maximum of 5 bonus points for each UNSW preference.
