UNSW 'Register & Win' Competition
Conditions of Entry

By entering the UNSW 'Register & Win' competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. Who can enter?
Entry is open to all high school students (11- 18 years) who reside in Australia.

2. Competition theme
The theme of the competition is 'Register & Win'. Entries will be submitted online, and the prize winning and non-prize winning submissions may potentially be used by UNSW for marketing purposes.

3. How to Enter
3.1 The competition commences on 10 August 2009 and concludes on 5 September at 5pm ("Competition Period").

3.2 To enter, eligible participants must, during the Competition Period, submit a registration to UNSW Open Day 2009. Entries must include the entrant's contact details including name, telephone number and email address.

3.4 Entrants in the competition may enter once only.

3.5 Entries must be received by close of business on 5 September at 5pm by submitting entries via www.openday.unsw.edu.au.

3.6 Entries not received during the Competition Period or not completed in accordance with the Conditions of Entry may not be eligible to win.

4. How to Win and the Prizes
4.1 There will be only 1 prize winner.

4.2 The prize will be a LG KP500 Mobile Phone valued at $299.

4.3 The winner will be announced on 7 September 2009 and will be notified via the registered contact details. The winner will also be announced on the Open Day 09 website www.openday.unsw.edu.au.

4.4 The winner will be picked at random and correspondence will not be entered into regarding the result.

5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act or event which prevents or significantly hinders UNSW's ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these Conditions of Entry, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, UNSW may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition.

5.2 UNSW will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur as a result of the participant's entry into the competition.
