Learning & Teaching at UNSW

Students who choose to come to UNSW will certainly do a lot of learning. The University prides itself on teaching and is constantly looking for ways to make learning and teaching more interesting, challenging, relevant and practical for students.

Learning and teaching at university can be very different from School. UNSW has several support units to help students adjust to their new environment and make a smooth transition to university. For example The Learning Centre at UNSW assists students in developing academic study skills and the Counselling Unit supports students who need help with problems that are interfering with their study or wellbeing. For Indigenous students, UNSW offers support via Nura Gili.
