What does deferment mean?
Deferment means that you have received an offer to enrol in a program but have been given permission by UNSW to delay the commencement of the program for a maximum of 2 years.
UNSW does not grant deferments to commence in Semester 2 (mid-year). If however, the program from which you have deferred is available to commencing students mid-year, it may be possible to activate your deferred offer to commence in Semester 2.
