How to accept an offer to study

Please note – if you made your application to UNSW through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), you should refer to the UAC website for more information about accepting any offer to study. The information given below is for DIRECT applicants to UNSW only.

If you are made an offer to study at UNSW the Admissions office will send you an offer letter, informing you which program you are entitled to study, any transfer credits you have been awarded and any conditions associated with your offer.

Once you have received this letter, you should send back the attached reply form as soon as possible to secure your place. If you are an international student, you should also send your deposit and overseas health cover payment, if required. Please visit the website of UNSW international for further information on tuition fee deposits and overseas health cover payments.

Once your acceptance has been received, your application record will be updated and a student record will be setup for you. At this point, you will be able to access some of the functions for students on the myUNSW website. For further information on this, please read the information for commencing students on myUNSW.
