Universitas 21 is a network of international research-intensive universities. Its goals are:
- Sharing of best practice in teaching, research and administration;
- Cooperation in developing new teaching and learning technologies;
- Mutual recognition of courses and curricula;
- Staff and student mobility; and
- Benchmarking.
The goals of the UNSW Universitas 21 Fellowship Program are:
- Provide high-quality development opportunities for UNSW staff members;
- Develop and strengthen links between UNSW and the other Universitas 21 member universities; and
- Gain knowledge about teaching and administrative practices at the other Universitas 21 universities.
