LEARNING & TEACHING

The learning and teaching awards grants scheme began at UNSW in 2002. The scheme is distinguished by:

an annual focus on high-priority areas for learning and teaching at the university;
the requirement that awardees pursue projects to enhance learning and teaching in these high-priority areas;
the requirement that awardees attend three workshops and the annual UNSW Learning and Teaching Forum to develop their learning and teaching practice and to share issues, experiences, and achievements; and
an emphasis on the development of communities of practice.
