The UNSW Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Teaching and Supervision Excellence recognise and encourage sustained excellence in teaching and postgraduate research supervision. The awards will be allocated each year for:

The Graduate Research School is now responsible for administration of the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Postgraduate Research Supervision and has revised the guidelines and application process for these awards as well as producing a new Supervision Award Toolkit to aid applicants with their submissions. Vice Chancellor’s Teaching and Research Awards These awards were created with Strategic Priority Funding and are supporting six outstanding young UNSW Researchers in continuing their research whilst undertaking innovative learning and teaching projects. Funds are used to enable the Awardees to appoint a postdoctoral Fellow to manage their research team and thus provide relief so that the awardees can concentrate on the development and evaluation of their learning and teaching initiative. Support for the development, evaluation and the wider sharing of the learning and teaching initiative is provided by Learning and Teaching @ UNSW.
