Greenhouse guru to speak at UNSW

Internationally renowned greenhouse expert Stephen Schneider will speak at UNSW on Thursday.
A Professor at Stanford University, Schneider was recently elected to the US National Academy of Science. He is the lead author for the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change, the official source of expert advice for the international climate change negotiations.
In his address he will discuss the uncertainties in greenhouse science and economics, and their implications for policy – issues that are at the heart of the current debate on the Kyoto Protocol. Australia is the only developed country not to have ratified the Protocol.
