MEDIA, NEWS & EVENTSGender equity seminar - balancing work and life26 October 2004 The complex issue of balancing work and life will be the topic of the fourth lecture in the 2004 Gender Equity Speaker Series lecture this Thursday (28 October). Jo Morris, Director of the Our Time Project, Trade Union Congress, UK will draw on her experience developing policies and creative strategies to help managers and staff better balance work/life commitments in organisations across the UK and Europe. "This seminar aims to move beyond the rhetoric of family friendly workplaces to providing the institution with some practical suggestions for managing work/life issues using leading edge case studies," says Rachel Gray, Gender Equity Project Officer.
