German Consul-General delivers UN Society Lecture

The new German Consul-General in Sydney will deliver a lecture entitled Security Council reform: A role for Germany? this Wednesday as part of the University’s United Nations Society lecture series.
Dr Guenter Gruber will address the issue of reform and whether the Federal Republic of Germany should have a more significant role, due to its powerful status in Europe.
Dr Gruber was appointed Consul-General in July this year. Prior to his appointment he was the Head of Division in the Foreign Office Berlin for the Asia Pacific region.
