E Performance symposium

International interactive and digital media artists will perform at the Io Myers Studio as part of a two-day symposium entitled e-Performance and Plug-ins organised by the School of Media, Film and Theatre.

The symposium will focus on the relationship between technology and live art. Speakers will present academic papers and practice-led research on the range of artistic and theoretical approaches to media-based performance.

Performances at the ‘live’ event night include interactive installations and digital constructions by filmmaker and musician John Gillies, UK digital media artists Michaela Reiser and Russell Richards, Company in Space co-founder Hellen Sky and local artists known as Unreasonable Adults.
