Professor Pam Morrison from the School of Marketing has won a top industry honour, being named Distinguished Researcher of the Year (2006) at the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC) conference.
Professor Morrison was acknowledged for sustained excellence in marketing research over several years.
This continues a strong performance by the Faculty of Business in the annual event. Another UNSW researcher, Professor Ian Wilkinson, won the award last year; while the AGSM’s John Roberts, David Midgley, Grahame Dowling and Ujwal Kayande have been given the accolade previously.
Professor Morrison has won substantial research funding from the ARC and other sources as well as awards for papers at previous ANZMAC conferences and at other international events.
She co-authored a paper with Professor Roberts, which won “Best Paper” in its category at the recent event.
Hongwei Lu, Mark Uncles, Lihua Zhao and Gary Gregory’s paper was also given an award.
