What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" - a way of automatically distributing information from a website. For more information, check out this video.
How does it work?
To subscribe to an RSS feed you will need RSS newsreader software. Some web browsers, including the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari have this built-in. For a comprehensive list of RSS newsreader software, visit the DMOZ site.
Once you subscribe to an RSS feed your newsreader software will automatically check for and download the latest feed for you to view later (how you view your feeds depends on the software you are using).
