International Activities

UNSW has developed and maintained strong international research collaborations and industry linkages.

UNSW as one of Australia’s leading ‘Group of Eight’ research intensive universities and a member of Universitas 21, a consortium of world class universities, is consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the Asian region. UNSW is a major recipient of competitive research grants from industry and government bodies in Australia.

With research becoming much more global, there are very few research programs these days that do not have an international dimension, either in terms of research collaboration and linkages or perhaps utilising world class facilities overseas.

UNSW continues to foster and strengthen its linkages with global research-intensive universities through its International Fellowships Program.
