‘Smudged Line’ is a large scaled work that is a reference to music scores shown through random and gestural marks. Listening to music, responding to beats through speed, movement and drumming allows the artists hand to have the freedom into the unknown through the process. Materials used such as pencil, charcoal and pastel to create the mark which has that smudge effect to it. Using layering as a technique as well as using a tracer projector, to project lines as a starting point and a guide for my mark making.
