Artist statement

Remembering engages with personal memories through ballpoint pen drawings on fabric and an artist book. Our pasts are tightly interlinked to our identities, in the experience of Depersonalisation Derealisation Disorder this relationship of self is disrupted. Through reflecting, recording, and mapping past memories the artwork looks to explore the past through art making to attempt to reform an integrated self through the processes of reflecting, recording, and mapping memories.
