Artist statement

Fuzzy polymorphic bodies arrive and dissolve, to inhabit a space where it is normal to fracture and explode, bleed and vibrate. These works position the body as porous, fluid and non-singular — exploring identity through ambiguity and abstraction. The figures float in a transcendent realm like angels or daemons, celestial intermediaries or guides. How can we understand our own identities through these shapeshifting forms?
