Attending a Course

Yes – all AGSM Short Courses include catering for morning tea, afternoon tea, lunch and for residential courses, breakfast and most dinners. Your Program Manager will be in touch 3-6 weeks prior to course commencement with further details and the opportunity to provide details of any dietary requirements.

Generally, the dress code for AGSM Short Courses is smart business casual. Some courses may require a different dress code for specific sessions such as outdoor or fitness activities. You will receive notification of any special requirements 3-6 weeks prior to course commencement.

Yes – both the UNSW CBD Campus and AGSM Building offer complimentary WiFi to all course participants.

Yes - for courses that include accommodation, the residential format plays an important role in the learning experience. If you are unsure whether you will be able to stay on-site for the duration, please contact Client Engagement on +61 2 9385 0330 to discuss your options.

You will stay at the residential conference centre in the AGSM building. Room facilities include:

  • Double bed
  • Ensuite
  • Dining and lounge access
  • LCD TVs
  • Desks
  • Tea and coffee making facilities
  • Mini Fridges
  • Hair dryers, ironing and washing facilities
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

Each course has different requirements. You will receive details of course preparation and what to bring with you approximately 3-6 weeks prior to course commencement.

Each course has unique timetable, start and finish times will be sent to you via email 3-6 weeks prior to course commencement by your Program Manager.

Enrolling in a Course

All AGSM Short Courses offer points towards your AGSM Certificate in Executive Management and Development. A completed certificate articulates into subject credits towards select AGSM MBA qualifications. 

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, AmEx or EFT. Your invoice will automatically be generated upon enrolment and credit card payment can be made online immediately or at a later date.

Payment is due eight weeks prior to course commencement. We do understand that your organisation may have conflicting payment terms and if you need to make alternative payment arrangements, please contact Client Engagement on +61 2 9385 0330.

Getting to a Course
UNSW Campus, Randwick (AGSM Building)

As the AGSM Building is a purpose-built conference centre and is not staffed outside course dates, we are unable to provide additional accommodation on-site. If you require additional accommodation, you can stay a short taxi ride from campus at Coogee Beach. Coogee Beach has a number of accommodation properties, including:

1 O’Connell Street guests can receive a discounted all-day rate Monday to Friday for parking at Secure parking – 109 Pitt Street & Wilson Parking – Sofitel Wentworth (Entrance on Bligh Street).

The Secure parking station is located at 109 Pitt Street, near the corner of Pitt and Hunter Street and the entrance to the Wilson parking is on Bligh Street rather than at the Hotel’s entrance on Philip Street.

All day parking is $45 for entry and departure between 6.00am and midnight the same day. Please direct guests to UNSW City Centre reception to collect a follow-on voucher (Secure) or to have their ticket stamped (Wilson).

Flat rate casual evening parking is available for entry after 5pm at Secure 109 Pitt Street for $18 online or $23 drive up and $25 at Wilson Sofitel Wentworth. You do not require a voucher for the casual evening parking rate.

Early bird, weekend rates and additional parking options are available for pre-booking or frequent users via the links Secure and Wilson.

Making Changes to my Enrolment

You can transfer to an alternative session at no cost, provided you have given notice in writing to enquiries@agsm.edu.au no later than eight weeks prior to course commencement. Our full terms and conditions can be viewed here or contact Client Engagement on to discuss your options.

You can send a substitute participant in your place at no extra cost, provided notification in writing is given to enquiries@agsm.edu.au no later than eight weeks prior to course commencement. In some instances, we are able to accommodate substitute participants at a later date, and encourage you to contact us on +61 2 9385 0330 to discuss your options.
