2021 Bill Birkett Memorial Lecture with Steve Bingham

We are pleased to present 2021 Bill Birkett Memorial Lecture. This year will focus on the very topical subject of Digital Transformation and Technology: Implications for the Future of the Accounting Profession for the future of the accounting profession.
Our guest speaker, Steve Bingham, has 25 years’ experience in the consulting industry. He is currently a partner at EY Asia Pacific. His role is Technology Consulting Leader, and he helps businesses with their digital technology so they can improve their customer outcomes.
Steve is a UNSW Alumni with a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology (first year Coop program – graduate 1991) with a major in accounting and information systems.
This lecture honours the late Professor Bill Birkett who began his academic career in 1962 at UNSW as an Associate Lecturer in Accountancy. He was a leader in accounting education and an international expert in management accounting.
