TAX

Our School has a special relationship with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT). Students who enrol in TABL5551 Taxation Law, TABL5901 Principles of Australian Taxation Law, TABL5550 Transfer Pricing and the new TABL 5580 Contemporary Issues in Taxation can use these TABL courses to sit for exams in the Institute’s Advanced Diploma in Taxation (ADIT) which means they can gain two qualifications.

An ADIT qualification is recognised all over the world, showcasing  a student’s expertise in international tax subjects.

CIOT just announced it newest cohort of successful ADIT students, graduates and award winners.

All exams were delivered remotely using online exam software, to students in more than 60 countries around the world.

775 students sat a total of 865 exams in June.  584 students passed at least one exam, while 123 students joined the ranks of ADIT graduates by successfully completing their third ADIT module – including 15 who have achieved the distinction grade for excellence in their exams.

The ADIT qualification is now held by 1,450 tax practitioners in 86 countries and territories.

CIOT President Peter Rayne congratulated the ADIT students around the world, particularly those who have now completed the ADIT qualification.

“The ADIT exams are highly valued by tax employers worldwide as offering international tax professionals the ability to develop, demonstrate and apply their technical knowledge and skills, giving firms and clients the utmost confidence in the expertise of those who hold the ADIT qualification.”

He invited ADIT graduates “to continue their relationship with us by subscribing as International Tax Affiliates of the CIOT; we aim to support international tax professionals throughout their careers, and the Affiliate package features a wide range of benefits including free or discounted access to a growing suite of online tax events.
