About Salvatory

Salvatory is a Ph.D. student in the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies. His research is at the frontier of statistical machine learning and actuarial sciences. He aims to apply the advanced data analytics techniques in both individual and population level data in order to increase the prediction accuracy of the mortality rates. The findings of this research will be very useful in managing the longevity risk in insurance companies and pension funds. His research is supported financially by Scientia Ph.D. Scholarship.
