PhD Placement Scheme
UNSW Business School provides scholarships recognising outstanding research performance to selected completing Business School PhD students, providing financial support for activities helpful in securing a prestigious placement post-PhD.
There will be two funding rounds in each year, in April and September. It is anticipated that a maximum of ten scholarships will be awarded in 2020, of a value of up to $1,000 each for travel in Australia/New Zealand, up to $2,000 each for travel in Asia, and up to $3,000 each for travel in Europe and/or North America.
Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program in the UNSW Business School and have completed at least five semesters full-time (or equivalent) at the closing time of submission of applications. Conference Travel Funding (PRSS)
Postgraduate research students may apply for funding for conference travel once during their candidature through the Postgraduate Research Support Scheme (PRSS). This scheme is administered by the Graduate Research School (GRS).
Students who are successful in gaining PRSS funding may apply to the Business School Research Office for top-up funding in the amount of up to $1,000. Current students can access further information on the Connect HDR Resources collaboration site, and can email any questions to email@example.com.
