Civil and Environmental Engineering
You will use satellite images to evaluate water quality in lakes, rivers and estuaries on South Pacific Islands (your choice of country or countries). This information can be used by local authorities to determine whether the water is safe for potable and/or recreational use. Water quality algorithms have already been developed by our research team for Australia – your job will be to apply these tools in a different geographical and socioeconomic context.
