Advanced imaging technologies, supported by bioinformatics and big data extraction, allow images from the most inaccessible environments of the living body to be turned into reliable scientific findings. Our research group has a strong track record in the developments of new imaging techniques: fluorescence hyperspectral and time-resolved microscopy.

Clinical applications span the areas of cancer surgery and cancer diagnostics, fertility, neurodegeneration, chronic pain and ophthalmology.
