Subhan has 9 years of research, teaching, and technical experience in computing, mechatronics, and electrical engineering. In particular, his area of interest includes Motion Control Systems for Autonomous Vehicles, Deep Learning, GPS and non-GPS based Autonomous Navigation, and Software development in Engineering Education. In terms of non-technical skills, he has worked in various management roles at COMSATS University Islamabad. Additionally, he has worked as a professional freelancer and systems engineer in freelancer.com and Alliance Professionals, respectively.

Currently, Subhan completed his PhD thesis in the Mechatronics lab at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. He is a recipient of the prestigious University International Postgraduate Award (UIPA). His PhD thesis is based on motion planning and control of an autonomous vehicle. During his PhD, he has also worked on feature extraction and localization of autonomous vehicles. Additionally, he has expertise in machine learning and medical imaging applications. He has published quality articles in IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer.
