We offer a range of postgraduate degrees to help you further your study. View our Master of Engineering Science where you can specialise in photovoltaics and solar energy or renewable energy. Also, explore our graduate diploma for both photovoltaics and renewable energy engineering.
Master of Engineering Science (Photovoltaics & Solar Energy)
This two-year Master of Engineering Science program is focused on solar PV energy technologies and their applications and promotes flexible learning as a keystone of the program. It’s designed for students who already have a four-year accredited engineering degree and who now wish to broaden their job prospects through cross training, re-training or specialisation in solar PV. It’s a non-accredited program and does not offer industrial training.
The typical program structure comprises of 16 courses, broken down into the following: four disciplinary knowledge courses, five advanced disciplinary courses, three research courses and four electives.
Master of Engineering Science (Renewable Energy)
This Master of Engineering Science program offers a broader focus in renewable technologies beyond our solar PV degree. It investigates new and emerging energy developments in wind, tides, biomass and more. If you’re interested in these rapidly advancing fields, then a renewable energy master degree could be right for you.
It’s a non-accredited program and does not offer industrial training. The typical program structure comprises 16 courses, broken down into the following: four disciplinary knowledge courses, five advanced disciplinary courses, three research courses and four electives.
Graduate Diploma of Engineering Science
The Graduate Diploma of Engineering Science (Solar PV or Renewable Energy) is a two-year program designed for engineers and graduates wishing to develop their knowledge and skills in their current area of expertise. This will help you meet or maintain professional accreditation standards. You’ll be provided with opportunities for continuing professional development, as well as the chance to interact with those at the cutting edge of their discipline.
