This live coding workshop will benefit anyone who currently uses a computer for their research and is applicable to a range of fields, from humanities and social sciences through to biomedical sciences and engineering.

The session will assist you to write programs that produce results, using the researcher-focused training modules from the highly regarded Software Carpentry Foundation (software-carpentry.org) using dedicated ready to run Linux virtual machines.
