Step 1

Turn on your windows device, and on the “Let’s connect you to a network” screen, select the UNSW-IoT network.

Step 2

lick “Connect”, and enter the password “unswbuild” to connect the windows device into the UNSW-IoT network.

Step 3

Authenticate with zID@unsw.edu.au and zPass credentials. Follow through the MFA process when prompted.

Step 4

Once Windows is loaded, open Microsoft Edge and navigate to the GetOnline website, and select ‘Log in with zID’.

Step 5

Read the Terms and Conditions and select ‘I agree’. Then, select ‘Next’.

Step 6

Select the type of device you would like to onboard to the UNSW WiFi network.

Step 7

Sign in by entering your zID@ad.unsw.edu.au and password. Follow through the MFA process when prompted.

Step 8

On the UNSW Onboard page, select ‘Download and start the QuickConnect network configuration application’.

Step 9

Run and install the ClearPass QuickConnect onboard wizard. Select ‘Next’.

Step 10

Read the Terms and Conditions and select ‘I agree’. Then, select ‘Next’.

Once the onboarding wizard finishes loading, select ‘Close’. You will now be securely connected to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network every time you are at participating institutions.
