Virology Research Laboratory Seminar Series are pleased to welcome two speakers; Rebekah Puls and Dr Coffey.
Rebekah Puls is the Executive Officer of the Triple I Clinical Academic Group, Infection Immunity & Inflammation Theme at UNSW Medicine. She will present a short overview of the Triple I Clinical Academic Group, as well as the opportunities coming up.
Dr Coffey will speak about “The Intestinal Virome in Children with Cystic Fibrosis”. He is a Paediatric Registrar at Sydney Children’s Hospital and undertaking his PhD at the University of New South Wales on the gut milieu in cystic fibrosis (CF). Under the supervision of Dr Keith Ooi (Paediatric Gastroenterologist), he is running an international randomised controlled trial on probiotics in children with CF.
