Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
The Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) study focuses on patients’ and health professionals’ perspectives on the benefits and/or challenges of using spatial sequencing technology in cancer diagnostics.
This research project aims to investigate the potential of spatial sequencing technology to improve the diagnostic process for NSCLC, which currently relies on a stepwise method that is time-consuming and tissue-intensive. By integrating views from both patients and healthcare providers, the study aims to identify benefits, challenges, and the overall feasibility of adopting this advanced technology in clinical settings.
Participants include pathologists and oncologists (from both public and private sectors), as well as patients (adult patients diagnosed with NSCLC in the last year).
