“Social norms towards smoking: Their definition, measurement, and the debated influence of e-cigarettes”

About the speaker:

Katie is a first-year PhD student studying under the supervision of Professor Ann McNeill and Dr Sara Hitchman.

She previously worked as a Research Worker, within the Additions department, on the development of tools to measure norms towards ordinary cigarettes and nicotine use. Her interests include a wide range of topics relating to addiction and substance misuse, particularly in individuals with mental health problems.

Katie completed her MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at University College London, and her BSc in Experimental Psychology at The University of Bristol.
