    About Malcolm

    Malcolm Good was dux of the UNSW flying course of 1999 and was subsequently employed as an instructor by the university.

    He is an Approved Testing Officer, holds an Air Transport Pilot (Aeroplane) Licence, a Command Multi-engine Instrument Rating and a Grade One Instructor Rating. 

    He has worked as a charter pilot flying various piston and turbine types and has completed postgraduate study in the fields of aviation safety and law.

    About Jeremy

    Jeremy's aviation career spans 35 years of flying and teaching theory. He spent 10 years working as a general aviation pilot flying freight, doing charter work and working as a flying instructor for the Royal Aero Club of NSW. Since 1993, Jeremy has engaged in full time aviation theory teaching, first at TAFE and 19 years for UNSW. The range of subjects that he is able to teach is extraordinary, encompassing all private pilot licence theory, all commercial subjects, instrument rating theory and ATPL for fixed wing aircraft; and rotary wing up to Commercial Pilot level. His flying experience and intense interest in all facets of the aviation industry provide a practical context for the theoretical subjects that he delivers. Jeremy is presently the Chief Ground Instructor and teaches Flight Planning and Performance at ATPL level.

    About Jack

    Jack is a Graduate of the 2014 UNSW Bachelor of Aviation (Flying) Course (14PPP).

    Prior to returning to UNSW as an Instructor, he acquired experience instructing in a range of aircraft (both high wing and low wing) commonly used for flying training (PA28/C152).

    At UNSW he is part of a team of Instructors who provide one-on-one training to students from the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) to Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) phase in the Diamond DA-40 as well as the DA-40 Type FRASCA synthetic trainer. This includes training in general handling, cross country navigation, and basic instrument flying.
