Ayad received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with a special focus on self-learning control approaches for autonomous systems at the UNSW Canberra in 2021. Ayad has received his Bachelor and Masters of Mechatronics Engineering in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Ayad is a Team Lead of Avionics and Control Systems at Geodrones Australia and a researcher at UNSW Sydney. His research interests includes autonomous systems, neural networks, fuzzy systems, robotics, computer vision and adaptive control.
