I am a Senior Lecturer in Media (Digital Cultures) at the School of the Arts and Media at the UNSW in Sydney. I have a growing international reputation as a digital ethnographer with a substantial record of sole and co-authored articles and monographs. I have published in ten different countries, in four different languages. These publications are the direct output of a long history of successful grant income, leadership and management. I have been teaching in a HE capacity for more than 15 years and have taught across the full cohort of students from UG to PhD supervision.
I have worked and/or studied in nine universities through various funded opportunities (visiting fellowships, research grants, travel bursaries) in Australia, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and the UK and I have presented my research at International Conferences across a number of disciplines such as Communication, Media Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Qualitative Methods and Internet Studies.
