Eithandee is a Research Associate with experience in epidemiology, routine disease surveillance, project management and HIV prevention in Australia and internationally, having worked for UNAIDS and WHO Western Pacific Office.
At the Kirby Institute, she has coordinated the Gaps Report, identifying gaps in HIV elimination among gay and bisexual MSM in Australia, and conducted qualitative research investigating the experiences of overseas-born gay and bisexual men recently diagnosed with HIV. Currently, Eithandee is coordinating the national HPV surveillance program, and other surveillance work in vaccine preventable diseases and COVID-19.
