
I am a senior lecturer at School of Computer Science and Engineering. I received BE and ME from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and PhD from National University of Singapore. My early career was mainly focused on CNC systems. I was the chief software architect and developer of Aerospace I CNC System, vice director of Numerical Control Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology between 1992 and 1995, and a co-founder of Wuhan Huazhong Numerical Control Co. Ltd.
My research areas include real-time embedded systems, parallel and distributed systems, and IoT with focuses on high performance, energy efficiency and security. I have graduated 9 PhDs.
